EASY ADJUST SCREEN
The screen shape and size has been defined by extensive wind tunnel testing. The height can be adjusted to suit the rider’s stature or preferences adjustable by 50mm to one of 11 positions. SUZUKI INTELLIGENT RIDE SYSTEM (SIRS)
The Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) is a complete package of modern rider aids to help support your riding adventures. The system incorporates the Motion Track Brake System, Hill Hold Control System, Slope Dependent Control System, Load Dependent Control System, Cruise Control System, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) and a Traction Control System. The systems are powered by a new ride-by-wire throttle and a 6 direction 3 axis IMU sensor to provide riders with intelligent controls to enhance ease of use, convenience, comfort and enjoyment.
MOTION TRACK BRAKE SYSTEM
The Motion Track Brake System combines information about the bike’s posture with front and rear wheel speeds. This allows the ABS to activate both when the bike is upright and traveling in a straight line but also when the vehicle is leaning through corners too. The system also has 2 different ABS modes to select from based on rider preference or conditions.
CRUISE CONTROL SYSTEM
The cruise control system maintains a set speed without the rider having to operate the throttle twist grip, a helpful feature for riding on motorways or for long distance traveling, helping reduce rider fatigue. Cruising speed can be set from approximately 30mph to 100mph with fourth gear or above selected. A switch on the right switch cube can be pressed to put cruise control into standby, and the selector switch (up/down) on the left switch cube allows the rider to adjust the speed.
TRACTION CONTROL AND SDMS
The traction control system allows the rider to be in control with more confidence in diverse conditions. The traction control system offers three separate modes as well as an off setting, allowing the rider to quickly and easily change to road conditions or their riding preference. The traction control system continuously monitors the front and rear wheel speed, throttle position, crank position and gear position. When wheel spin is detected, the system quickly controls power output by managing ignition timing and air delivery. The Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) is a system that allows the rider to select from three different throttle output characteristic modes to suit their preference and riding conditions.
